Friday photo; Hougharry

Tonight Alasdair MacEachan will be giving a talk for the Islands Book Trust entitled ’80 Degrees North via St Kilda, the Faroes and Jan Mayen’ in the Claddach Kirkibost centre from 8pm, which should be very interesting.  Earlier in the week North Uist recieved the great news that Teampall na Trionaid had secured funding of almost £200,000, which will go towards preserving the ruins for future generations.  Unfortunately we don’t have any pictures of the ruin, but there are some great pictures on the Undiscovered Scotland site.  We do have, however, this lovely photo of Hougharry in North Uist for you to enjoy!
