Friday photo; three men in a boat

This postcard is dated September 1932 and depicts three men in a boat (but no sign of a dog) in South Uist.  The message on the back describes the weather as ‘unsettled’, a common complaint found on many of the messages of the postcard collection of Stornoway Library.  However, the messages always pass comment on the beauty of the islands, and in the case of this postcard talk fondly of South Uist as being ‘the heart of the Hebrides’.
