A talk to North Lochs Historical Society

On 26 March, David gave a presentation to North Lochs Historical Society about records held by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar relating to their area.  The Historical Society cover Grimshader, Ranish, Crossbost, Leurbost, Achmore, Lochganvich and Soval so David and Donna had spent time rooting about in the archives looking for stories with which to entertain.

The slides from the presentation are available below and the text of the main talk can be downloaded here.

Following the talk a selection of archives were on show for the members to look at and enjoy. Most people had not realised the material existed so they were truly fascinated!
