Friday photo; the birth of a town

The portion of a card seen above and below were found in the James Shaw Grant collection, and bear a striking resemblance to the Christmas Card sent by Lord Leverhulme featured on our blog in the past.

The card has been torn in half, so we cannot identify if it was indeed sent by Lord Leverhulme, however the design of the card and the tone of the poem inside seem to point to the fact that it was.  Have you come across this card before in another collection?  Get in touch if you can help!
