Today’s Friday Photo is from the James Shaw Grant collection held at Stornoway Library. The image is of Dun Barabhat in Bernera, taken by Prof D W Harding during an excavation by Edinburgh University. The following information is included with the photograph:
In the foreground can be seen the paved entrance, and on the right the pivot stone for the door, temporarily used to support a ranging rod. In the background can be seen the entrance to one of the intra-mural galleries.
