Friday photo; Breasclete Bus (?)

Tomorrow Carloway Historical Society will celebrate 100 years since the opening of the Pentland Road, with events including a rally of vintage vehicles (some of which you may have spotted this week in the Royal Hotel car park in Stornoway) at 3pm, and a buffet in the Community Centre and an exhibition in the hall (£5 for adults and £3.50 for children) and a Dance to the Ness Melodeon Band starting at 7pm.

The photo above is from the Lewis Museum Trust collection of photographs held in Stornoway Library.  We believe it to be a bus (we could be wrong!) which operated out of Breasclete, however we cannot make out the owner from the sign on the side of the vehicle.  If you can help please do get in touch!
