On Sunday we went to church as usual in the forenoon. One of the country ministers preached – I think he was Mr. Mackay, of Lochs, but am not sure. I had a letter from Willie B. Macdonald on Sunday morning. He is at last getting his discharge and hopes to be home in a few weeks. He hopes then to resume his studies. His knee still gives him trouble. This is the second member of your class to be discharged disabled as a result of the war… Stornoway, 10th February. 1918
